Microsoft, the technology giant and innovator, has unveiled its bold new look for windows 11. But, while the design choices may be interesting, some users may be left feeling a little less than enthused. The biggest change to microsoft’s beloved operating system is the introduction of a so-called «dark mode».
This means that instead of the bright colors and white backgrounds associated with traditional windows, users will now have the option to switch to all-black themes in some areas whilst using applications or visiting websites using edge.
The main aim of this feature is to reduce eye strain from long periods sitting in front of a computer screen as well as offering an aesthetically pleasing way for users to customize their experience on windows 11. It must also be said that it looks very cool too!
However, for those who are used to seeing classic versions of windows with its white backgrounds and light colors this could prove somewhat jarring when first logging on. Even if you do like its sleek look—which many people will—it still might take some getting used to after so many years of familiarity with traditional windows appearances and furnishings.
